Collection: Plug Trays for Seed Starting
Plug trays give every seedling its own cell to root into, so transplanting is cleaner and the roots come out intact instead of tearing apart the way they do in an open flat.
We carry two cell counts that cover opposite ends of seed starting. The 128 cell tray packs the most starts into a single flat, which makes it our pick for lettuce, brassicas, herbs, and anything you'll move on to a bigger container or into the ground fairly quickly. The 6 cell tray goes the other direction with room for tomatoes, peppers, squash, and larger transplants that need to size up before they head outside.
Both fit a standard 10x20 flat, so they drop right into the bottom trays and humidity domes you already have.
These are built to be washed and reused season after season. Rinse them out, let them dry, and they're ready for the next round.
Still deciding? More cells means more plants in the same footprint but a shorter window before roots start circling. Fewer, larger cells buy you weeks of extra growing time.
