One of our go-to fertilizers for growing microgreens. Ocean Solution 2-0-3 consistently delivers stronger growth compared to many other nutrients we've tested specifically for microgreens, and it's OMRI-listed for organic production.
What It Is
Ocean Solution 2-0-3 is a liquid organic fertilizer made from OS PURE, with naturally sourced, OMRI-listed nitrogen and potassium added. The formulation helps plants readily absorb both macro and micronutrients, supporting steady growth, overall plant health, and efficient nutrient uptake.

Performs exceptionally in hydroponics: While effective in soil, this fertilizer really shines in hydroponic systems. It mixes cleanly without clogging systems or leaving stains—critical for trays, reservoirs, and recirculating setups.

How to Use
For Mature Plants & Garden Use:
- Shake or stir well before use
- Mix 1 oz per 1 gallon of water
- Apply to roots or foliage
- Reapply every 7–10 days
For Microgreens (Our Method):
- Start with a food-grade bucket
- Fill with water
- Add 0.5 oz per 1 gallon of water (lighter rate for microgreens)
- Mix well
- pH balance to 5.5–6.0 range
- Use for bottom-watering trays after germination
Note: The microgreen rate is half the standard rate. Microgreens need less nutrition than mature plants and perform best with lighter feeding.
When to Use
Hydroponic microgreens: Mix nutrient solution and use for bottom-watering after germination is complete
Soil-based microgreens: Mix and apply as needed if growing in low-nutrient mediums
Garden plants: Standard 1 oz per gallon rate, applied every 7–10 days
Recirculating systems: Clean formula won't clog pumps or leave residue
